It was assigned to Brachyderinae by Piton (1939); to Polydrosini by Voss (1953), Zherikhin (1971); and to Polydrusini by Yunakov and Kirejtshuk (2011), Bouchard et al. (2011), Legalov (2015), Legalov (2019), Legalov and Poinar (2021), Legalov (2023).
