Hongosmylites longus
Taxonomy
Sinosmylites longus was named by Hong (1996). Its type specimen is SPM 84SHL06, a forewing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is 84GTN4, Nanligezhuang, Tuanwang Town, Laiyang City, which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large shale in the Laiyang Formation of China. It is the type species of Hongosmylites, Sinosmylites.
It was recombined as Hongosmylites longus by Makarkin and Archibald (2005).
