Taeniothrips balticus
Taxonomy
Taeniothrips (Balticothrips) balticus was named by Schliephake (1999). Its type specimen is Hoffeins 435/3, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic Amber (Kupryjanowicz collection), which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in the Russian Federation.
It was recombined as Taeniothrips balticus by Schliephake (2001).
