Taxonomy
Archimylacris westfalica was named by Schmidt (1962). Its type specimen is WB 389, a tegmen, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Baldur coal mine, seam 18, which is in a Westphalian B terrestrial siliciclastic in Germany.
