Taxonomy
Norasaphus (Norasaphites) vesiculosus was named by Fortey and Shergold (1984). Its type specimen is CPC 22677, a cephalon/head (cranidium), and it is a mold. Its type locality is Locality 158/8, which is in an Arenig shallow subtidal sandstone/siltstone in the Nora Formation of Australia.
