Taxonomy
Alloma faciata was named by Hong (1982). It is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Songzhangzi, Jianchang, which is in a Barremian lacustrine - large mudstone in the Yixian Formation of China.
It was corrected as Alloma fasciata by Gu et al. (2010); it was recombined as Aboilus faciatus by Fang et al. (2013).
