Taxonomy
Emanuelaspis (Emanuelaspis) nicolli was named by Laurie and Shergold (1996). Its type specimen is CPC 31850, a pygidium, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Section 705/129, which is in a Bendigonian marine limestone/siltstone in the Emanuel Formation of Australia.
