Notocupes caudatus
Taxonomy
Notocupes caudatus was named by Ponomarenko (1966). Its type specimen is PIN 1989/3002, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Baissa (PIN collection 1989), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large siltstone/marl in the Zaza Formation of the Russian Federation.
It was recombined as Zygadenia caudata by Kirejtshuk (2020).
