Taxonomy
Trichocera (Oligotrichocera) diluta was named by Podenas (2001). Its type specimen is MHNN 1174, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic Amber (MHNN Neuchatel collection), which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in the Russian Federation.
It was recombined as Trichocera (Trichocera) diluta by Krzemińska et al. (2009).
