Taxonomy
Dysagrionini was named by Cockerell (1908). Its type is Dysagrion.

It was considered an invalid subgroup of Dysagrioninae by Huang et al. (2017).

It was assigned to Dysagrioninae by Nel and Fleck (2014); and to Dysagrioninae by Zheng et al. (2016), Zheng et al. (2017), Zheng et al. (2019).
