Eohypolestes hooleyi
Taxonomy
Eohypolestes hooleyi was named by Nel and Fleck (2014). Its type specimen is BMNH In.24653, a wing, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Bembridge Marls (Hooley coll), which is in a Priabonian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Bouldnor Formation of the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Eohypolestes.
