Pteromogoplistes smithii

Taxonomy
Pronemobius smithii was named by Scudder (1890). Its type specimen is Packard 134, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Green River (Packard Collection), which is in a Bridgerian lacustrine - large diatomite/shale in the Green River Formation of Wyoming.

It was corrected as Pronemobius smithi by Handlirsch (1907); it was recombined as Pteromogoplistes smithii by Gorochov (2012), Heads et al. (2023).
