Phoberogale shareri

Taxonomy
Phoberogale shareri was named by Wang et al. (2009). Its type specimen is OCPC 21794 and 21795, a partial skeleton (rostral part of skull missing tip of inion and much of basicranial region, but with complete upper dentition except right P1, and nearly complete left dentary w), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cooper Center 02039, which is in an Arikareean terrestrial sandstone in the Sespe Formation of California.

It was recombined as Cephalogale shareri by de Bonis (2013).
