Mengitaenioptera multiramis
Taxonomy
Mengitaenioptera multiramis was named by Liu and Ren (2008). Its type specimen is CNU NMDHG189, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Daohugou (CNU collection), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large shale in the Daohugou Formation of China. It is the type species of Mengitaenioptera.
