Dicranopeltis polytomus

Taxonomy
Lichas polytomus was named by Angelin (1854). Its type specimen is Ar 6025 [lectotype selected by Warburg 1939], a cephalon/head (cranidium), and it is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Dicranopeltis polytomus by Warburg (1939); it was recombined as Dicranopeltis polytoma by Owen (1981).
