Chalcophora espanoli
Taxonomy
Chalcophora espanoli was named by Fernández de Villalta (1962). Its type specimen is Villalta 3697/8, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Coll de Saig (Bellver de Cerdanya, MGBV collection), which is in a Vallesian/Turolian lacustrine - small mudstone in Spain.
