Taxonomy
Samaroblattula lingulata was named by Hong and Xiao (1997). Its type specimen is Beijing Institute of Geology IH022, a tegmen, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Yanqing district, which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian terrestrial mudstone in the Houcheng Formation of China.
