Kimakaspis kovalevskyi
Taxonomy
Kimakaspis kovalevskyi was named by Ghobadi Pour et al. (2011). Its type specimen is NMW 2005.32G.240 (articulated exoskeleton, internal mould) and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is 201. Karugach Section. East side of the Ayaguz River, about 7 km north of Akchii, which is in a Sandbian carbonate sandstone/siltstone in the Karagach Formation of Kazakhstan. It is the type species of Kimakaspis.
