Sequoiomyia krauseli
Taxonomy
Sequoiomyia krauseli was named by Möhn (1960). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is SMF 11781, an other (gall), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Grube Düren, near Düren, which is in a Miocene terrestrial siliciclastic in Germany. It is the type species of Sequoiomyia.
