Tohoraata raekohao
Taxonomy
Tohoraata raekohao was named by Boessenecker and Fordyce (2015). Its type specimen is OU 22178, a partial skull (A partial skull including right periotic and tympanic bulla, partial mandible, thoracic vertebra and five ribs.), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Waipati Creek, which is in a Duntroonian deep subtidal shelf limestone in the Otekaike Limestone Formation of New Zealand.
