Malmomyrmeleon viohli
Taxonomy
Malmomyrmeleon viohli was named by Martínez-Delclòs and Nel (1996). Its type specimen is JME SOS 3611, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Wintershof Quarry, Eichstätt, Solnhofen, which is in a Tithonian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Solnhofen Formation of Germany. It is the type species of Malmomyrmeleon.
