Belonotaris (Arnoldibelus) karatavicus
Taxonomy
Belonotaris karatavicus was named by Arnoldi (1977). Its type specimen is PIN 2066/2552, an exoskeleton (complete adult beetle (probably male)), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Karatau-Mikhailovka (PIN collection 2066), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large siltstone in the Karabastau Formation of Kazakhstan.
It was recombined as Arnoldibelus karatavicus by Legalov (2009), Legalov (2010); it was recombined as Belonotaris (Arnoldibelus) karatavicus by Gratshev and Legalov (2014), Legalov (2015).
