Taxonomy
Pseudomecorhis orlovi was named by Zherikhin (1971). Its type specimen is PIN 364/610, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic amber (PIN collection 364), which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in Lithuania.
