Fosterovenator churei
Taxonomy
Fosterovenator churei was named by Dalman (2014). Its type specimen is YPM VP 058267A, B, C, a set of limb elements (a nearly complete right tibia with co-ossified astragalus), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Quarry 12, Como Bluff (YPM), which is in a Kimmeridgian/Tithonian wet floodplain claystone in the Morrison Formation of Wyoming. It is the type species of Fosterovenator.
