Marginulatus venustus
Taxonomy
Marginulatus venustus was named by Yu et al. (2014). Its type specimen is CNU-COL-NN2011104, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Daohugou (CNU 2011 collection), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large shale in the Jiulongshan Formation of China. It is the type species of Marginulatus.
