Mesobyrrhus tanae
Taxonomy
Mesobyrrhus tanae was named by Huang and Zhang (1997). Its type specimen is NIGP 127727, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Lushangfen village, Fangshan District (NIGP collection), which is in an Aptian lacustrine mudstone in the Lushangfen Formation of China. It is the type species of Mesobyrrhus.
