Protagrypnus exoletus
Taxonomy
Protagrypnus exoletus was named by Dolin (1973). Its type specimen is PIN 358/785, an exoskeleton, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Sogyuty, Issyk-Kul (PIN Collection 358), which is in a Hettangian/Sinemurian lacustrine - small siliciclastic in the Dzhil Formation of Kyrgyzstan. It is the type species of Protagrypnus.
