Praelaterium problematicum
Taxonomy
Praelaterium problematicum was named by Dolin (1973). Its type specimen is PIN 358/351, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Sogyuty, Issyk-Kul (PIN Collection 358), which is in a Hettangian/Sinemurian lacustrine - small siliciclastic in the Dzhil Formation of Kyrgyzstan. It is the type species of Praelaterium.
