Pseudochrysomelites circumflexus was named by Ponomarenko (2015). Its type specimen is PIN 4811/74, an elytra, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Nedubrovo (PIN collection 4811), which is in a Changhsingian lacustrine - small siltstone in the Vokhma Formation of the Russian Federation.
