Cryptophagus minimus

Taxonomy
Cryptophagus minimus was named by Piton (1935). Its type specimen is Piton 22, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Lac Chambon (Piton coll), which is in a Gelasian crater lake diatomite/volcaniclastic in France.
