Cacurgulopsis sanguinettiae
Taxonomy
Cacurgulopsis sanguinettiae was named by Pinto and Adami-Rodrigues (1995). Its type specimen is UFRGS MP-I-5290, a wing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Praca da Bandeira, Well n. 2 IGG, 205 m depth, Boituva, which is in a Gzhelian marine shale in the Itarare Formation of Brazil. It is the type species of Cacurgulopsis.
