Taxonomy
Myrica premira was named by Berry (1937). It is not extant. It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type locality is Cerro Funes, which is in a Paleocene terrestrial claystone in Argentina.

Secondaries medium, numerous, regularly spaced, subparallel, craspedodrome; intermediates paralel with secondaries, camptodrome. |
