Monosulcites pseudospinosus was named by Freile (1972) [Measurement of others specimens: Length 30(40)47 µ; width 26 (36)40 µ. 58 specimens.
Other samples examinated: Preparacíon # 735 coord. 33.1-115.1; 21.9-119.8; 24.3-108.8. Prep. # 736 coord. 33.7-113; 44-113.5; 33.3-104.2; 52.3-104.3; Prep. # 737 coord. 35.6-120.2; 28.5-103.3. ]. It is not extant. It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is Holotype: P.m L. P. # 735, coord. 33.7-117.3., a microspore. Its type locality is Pozo T-137, nivel 720.50-721.75 m., which is in a Danian terrestrial sandstone/claystone in the Cerro Dorotea Formation of Argentina.

El colpo se extiende desde 2/3 o más del eje ecuatorial longitudinal, y es aveces algo engrosado. Ornamentación formada por espinas medianas que suelen estar truncadas, lo que le da al grano un aspecto granulado. |
