Pleciofungivora atavina
Taxonomy
Polyneurisca atavina was named by Rohdendorf (1946). Its type specimen is PIN 340/167, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Karatau-Mikhailovka (PIN collection 167), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large siltstone in the Karabastau Formation of Kazakhstan.
It was recombined as Pleciofungivora atavina by Archibald et al. (2014), Zhang et al. (2024).
