Parmaptera permiana
Taxonomy
Parmaptera permiana was named by Aristov and Rasnitsyn (2015). Its type specimen is PIN 1700/4935, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Chekarda, Sylva River (PIN collection 1700), which is in a Kungurian deltaic siliciclastic in the Koshelevka Formation of the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Parmaptera.
