Mioacinia adriatica
Taxonomy
Mioacinia adriatica was named by Gentilini and Korneyev (2006). Its type specimen is MTR 388, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Monte Castellaro (MTR collection), which is in a Messinian lagoonal marl in the Gessoso-solfifera Formation of Italy. It is the type species of Mioacinia.
