It was corrected as Micracini by Wood and Bright (1992); it was corrected as Micracidini by Bouchard et al. (2011); it was reranked as the subfamily Micracidinae by Legalov (2015).

It was assigned to Scolytinae by Wood and Bright (1992), Bright and Poinar (1994), Bouchard et al. (2011); and to Scolytidae by Legalov (2015).
