Oxyura zapatanima
Taxonomy
Oxyura zapatanima was named by Alvarez (1977). Its type specimen is UMMP 61232, a set of limb elements (distal left humerus), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Jocotepec, which is in a Pleistocene lacustrine - large conglomerate in Mexico.
