Makarkinia adamsi
Taxonomy
Panfilovia adamsi was named by Martins-Neto (1992). Its type specimen is CD-I-125, a forewing, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Crato (MN-UFRJ collection), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large carbonate in the Crato Formation of Brazil.
It was recombined as Makarkinia adamsi by Martins-Neto (1997), Martins-Neto (2000), Martins-Neto (2002), Bechly and Makarkin (2016).
