Taxonomy
Trithemis pseudodistanti was named by Nel (1991). Its type specimen is MNHN IPM-R.54382, a hindwing, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Bellver-en-Cerdaña (MNHN collection), which is in a Vallesian lacustrine diatomite in Spain.
