Taxonomy
Norasaphus (Shergoldina) greenvalensis was named by Feist and Talent (2000). Its type specimen is AMF 10756, a cephalon/head (cranidium), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Big Stockyard Creek area, south of Greenvale, which is in a Darriwilian carbonate limestone in the Carriers Well Formation of Australia. It is the type species of Norasaphus (Shergoldina).
