Taxonomy
Microsegestria poinari was named by Wunderlich and Milki (2004). Its type specimen is Milki PSB 7, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Lebanese amber (AUB coll), which is in a Barremian terrestrial amber in Lebanon. It is the type species of Microsegestria.
