Taxonomy
Elektroberotha groehni was named by Makarkin and Ohl (2015). Its type specimen is GPIH 4550, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic Amber, GPIH collection, which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Elektroberotha.
