Taxonomy
Gorgopsina flexuosa was named by Wunderlich (2004). Its type specimen is MfN MA.B.1052, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic Amber, Berendt collection, which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in Poland.
