Opacoinvolvulus rottensis
Taxonomy
Involvulus rottensis was named by Zherikhin (1992). Its type specimen is SMF VI 161, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Rott (SMF collection), which is in a MP 30 lacustrine - large lignite in the Rott Formation of Germany.
It was recombined as Opacoinvolvulus rottensis by Legalov (2015), Poinar and Legalov (2015).
