Makarkinia kerneri
Taxonomy
Makarkinia kerneri was named by Bechly and Makarkin (2016). Its type specimen is SMNS 70287, a hindwing, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Crato (SMNS collection), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large carbonate in the Crato Formation of Brazil.
