Archaeomangus ulanhureensis
Taxonomy
Archaeomangus ulanhureensis was named by Lopatin (1997). Its type specimen is PIN, no. 3106/100, a mandible (Fragment of the right ramus of the lower jaw with P2–M2), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ulan-Khureh, which is in an Oligocene terrestrial horizon in the Hsanda Gol Formation of Mongolia. It is the type species of Archaeomangus.
