Brachyhyrax oligocenus
Taxonomy
Brachyhyrax oligocenus was named by Rasmussen and Gutierrez (2009). Its type specimen is KNM-NW 22593, a mandible (Right and left lower tooth rows), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Benson's Site, which is in an Aquitanian floodplain siltstone in Kenya.
