Taxonomy
Triplopus jeminaiensis was named by Jin (2000). Its type specimen is IVPP V11828, a mandible, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Jeminay, which is in an Eocene terrestrial horizon in the Irtysh River Formation of China.
