Pleistorallus flemingi
Taxonomy
Pleistorallus flemingi was named by Worthy (1997). Its type specimen is MNZ S34498, a limb element (Tibiotarsus), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Morrison's Farm Gully, which is in a Pleistocene deltaic siliciclastic in New Zealand. It is the type species of Pleistorallus.
